After a few years of diving I decided to merge my two passions - 23 years of photography with the underwater world where I try to capture the excitement and the emotion I feel when shooting in the diverse underwater world.

Atlam SAC Photographer of the Year 2002 and recently runner-up of the Blue Dolphin of Malta International Photographic Competition 2002, awarded the Prize for the Promotion of the Mediterranean Underwater Image "Mediterranean Horizons 1" Palermo Sicily 2001.

Underwater photography is very equipment dependant and I use a Nikon F100 housed in a Subal, Nikonos SB104 and SB105 strobes, and 16mm fish-eye, 17-35mm, 60mm macro, 105mm macro lenses.

I am a CMAS 1 Star Instructor and a CMAS Level 2 underwater photographic instructor and host underwater photo courses through the FUAM. No photographic experience is needed to attend the underwater photographic courses. Commercial assignments are undertaken for advertising, survey and documentation, media promotion, brochures, and underwater stock photos.
